My drive to give back and connect with the community in meaningful ways has lead us to volunteer our time, professional talents and goods to the following local organizations:
Five Acres is the oldest non-sectarian child abuse agency is the San Gabriel Valley and strives to strengthen families through treatment, education, and rehabilitation programs.
Five Acres Children’s Guild Board Member, Membership Chair and Volunteer for seven years assisting with membership events, as well as monthly creative activities for the children.
This Southern California non-profit organization creates safe places for children in its residential treatment programs.
Community Service Committee member, through the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Pasadena, helping to secure product and vendor donations totaling $46,000 towards the renovation of one of their off-campus homes for teenage girls learning living skills.
The Blinn House Foundation
This Foundation is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of an 8,000 sq. ft., Prairie School-style architectural treasure in Pasadena built in 1906, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Dr. Winter Fundraising Dinner Chair for two years raising funds earmarked for the building’s preservation and maintenance.
The Women’s City Club of Pasadena
Founded in 1945, The Women’s City Club is a non-profit social organization offering business, social and charity programs to its members and the community.
Board Member- Marketing Director 2009-2011 and five-year member.
